Bennett Goodman is a Co-Founder of GSO Capital Partners (“GSO”), Senior Managing Director of Blackstone and a Member of Blackstone’s Management Committee.

Since joining Blackstone in 2008, Mr. Goodman focuses on the management of GSO, which is Blackstone’s credit investment platform with over $65 billion of assets under management ranging from hedge funds, mezzanine vehicles, distressed funds and other credit oriented investment strategies.

Before co-founding GSO in 2005, Mr. Goodman was the Managing Partner of the Alternative Capital Division of Credit Suisse. Mr. Goodman joined Credit Suisse in November 2000 when they acquired Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette ("DLJ") where he was Global Head of Leveraged Finance. Mr. Goodman joined DLJ in February of 1988 as the founder of the High Yield Capital Markets Group. Prior to joining DLJ, Mr. Goodman worked in the high yield business at Drexel Burnham Lambert from 1984 to 1988.

Mr. Goodman is on the Board of Directors of Lincoln Center, the Central Park Conservancy and the American Jewish Committee.  He also serves on the Investment Committee of the Lafayette College endowment. Mr. Goodman received Institutional Investor’s 2012 Money Manager of The Year Award. He also received the 2004 Lifetime Achievement Award from Euromoney Magazine for his career achievements in the global capital markets. He graduated from Lafayette College and the Harvard Business School.

Robert E. Rubin, former United States Secretary of the Treasury, serves as a counselor of Centerview Partners. In his role at Centerview, Mr. Rubin serves as a sounding board and advisor to clients across the firm’s various activities, bringing years of experience in finance and public policy.

Following a more than 25 year career at Goldman Sachs, including serving as the company’s Co-Chairman from 1990 to 1992, Mr. Rubin joined the Clinton administration in 1993. There, he served in the White House as Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and the first director of the National Economic Council. He served as the 70th United States Secretary of the Treasury from 1995 to 1999. As secretary, Mr. Rubin played a leading role in many of the nation’s most important policy debates. From 1999 to 2009, Mr. Rubin served as a member of the board of directors at Citigroup and as a senior advisor to the company. Mr. Rubin joined Centerview in 2010.

Mr. Rubin serves as co-chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations, a position he has held since in June 2007. He serves on the board of trustees of Mount Sinai Medical Center and is a member of the Harvard Corporation. He is also chairman of the board of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), the nation’s leading community development support organization. In 2006, Mr. Rubin was one of the founders of The Hamilton Project, an economic policy project housed at the Brookings Institution that offers a strategic vision and innovative policy proposals on how to create a growing economy that benefits more Americans. He is the author of In An Uncertain World: Tough Choices from Wall Street to Washington, a New York Times bestseller and one of Business Week’s ten best business books of the year.

Mr. Rubin graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College in 1960 with an A.B. in economics. He received a L.L.B. from Yale Law School in 1964 and attended the London School of Economics.

Samuel Greene joined Centerview Partners in 2011 to establish the restructuring advisory practice. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Greene was a Managing Director at Miller Buckfire & Co. and a member of the financial restructuring group of its predecessor firms, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Wasserstein Perella & Co., which he joined in 1997.

As an investment banker with nearly two decades of experience, he has advised on many of the largest and most complex restructurings. Mr. Greene has completed over $100 billion transactions across a broad range of industries. Mr. Greene’s experience includes representing companies, creditors and other constituents in complex Restructuring, M&A and Financing transactions.

Selected company side experience include representing Alcatel-Lucent, Ambac, Bedford Fair, Bruno's Supermarkets, Calpine, Centerpoint, Clearwire, CMS Energy, Colo.com, Cygnus Business Media, Favorite Brand International, F&W Media, Laidlaw, MagnaChip Semiconductor, McLeod USA, Oakwood Homes, PG&E, Polymer Group, Port Townsend Paper, Residential Capital, Stallion Oilfield Services, TECO Energy, The Dialog Corporation, THQ, United Australia/Pacific and U.S. Office Products. Mr. Greene has also represented creditor and equity constituencies in various transactions including CDX Gas, Dow Corning Corporation, Edison Mission Energy, Endeavour International, Energy Future Holdings, Extended Stay, Kerzner Resorts, MachGen, Mirant Corporation, Station Casinos and other non-public situations.

Mr. Greene is a member of several industry trade organizations including the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association and is a frequent lecturer on restructuring topics. Mr. Greene is a past recipient of the TMA Turnaround of the Year award for his work on the restructuring of Calpine Corporation.

Mr. Greene is an active supporter of various artistic, educational and cultural organizations. Mr. Greene has a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. (with honors) from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in New York City with his wife and three children.

Mr. Aronson co-founded Centerbridge Partners, L.P. in October 2005 with Mark T. Gallogly. The Firm, which currently manages approximately $25 billion in capital, focuses on private equity and distressed investments. Mr. Aronson has been an active investor in distressed securities for more than 25 years and has been deeply involved in many U.S. and overseas restructurings. Prior to co-founding Centerbridge, Mr. Aronson was a Partner at Angelo, Gordon & Co., where he led all of the firm's distressed securities and leveraged loan efforts. After joining Angelo, Gordon in 1989, Mr. Aronson focused extensively on distressed securities investments and served as the Portfolio Manager for Angelo, Gordon's distressed securities funds from July 1992 until February 2005. Mr. Aronson also founded Angelo, Gordon's leveraged loan business in 1998 and served as a Portfolio Manager for the firm's leveraged loan funds from their inception. Before joining Angelo, Gordon, Mr. Aronson served as Senior Corporate Counsel at L.F. Rothschild & Co. He began his career as a securities attorney with the law firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. Mr. Aronson graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and has a J.D. from New York University School of Law. He is Chair of the Johns Hopkins University Board of Trustees and is a member of the Board of Trustees of New York University School of Law.
